Agreement to Terms

By engaging Comfort Zone Air Conditioning Inc. for HVAC services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern all services provided, including installation, repair, maintenance, and emergency services.

Important: Please read these terms carefully before scheduling any services. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Service Terms

Scheduling & Appointments:

  • • Service appointments must be scheduled in advance
  • • Emergency services available 24/7 with additional fees
  • • 24-hour notice required for appointment cancellations
  • • Access to property and equipment required for service

Service Delivery:

  • • Work performed by licensed, insured technicians
  • • All work meets Florida building codes and standards
  • • Customer approval required for additional work
  • • Clean-up included with all installation services

Payment Terms

Payment Policy:

  • • Payment due upon completion of service unless other arrangements made
  • • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • • Financing options available for qualifying installations
  • • Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts
  • • Estimates valid for 30 days from date of issue

Emergency Service Fees:

Emergency services outside normal business hours incur additional charges. Fees will be disclosed before service begins.

Warranties & Guarantees

Labor Warranty

1 year on all repair work

Parts Warranty

Manufacturer warranty applies

Installation

Up to 10 years on systems

Warranty Conditions:

  • • Warranties void if system is serviced by unauthorized personnel
  • • Regular maintenance required to maintain warranty coverage
  • • Warranty covers defects in workmanship, not normal wear and tear
  • • Customer responsible for providing access for warranty service

Liability & Insurance

Comfort Zone Air Conditioning Inc. carries comprehensive general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Our liability is limited as follows:

  • • We are fully insured for property damage and personal injury
  • • Liability limited to the cost of services provided
  • • Customer responsible for protecting personal property during service
  • • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or code violations
  • • Force majeure events (natural disasters, etc.) may affect service delivery

Customer Responsibilities

Before Service:

  • • Provide clear access to HVAC equipment
  • • Secure pets and remove obstacles
  • • Disclose any known hazards or issues
  • • Ensure someone 18+ is present during service

After Service:

  • • Follow all operating instructions provided
  • • Schedule recommended maintenance
  • • Report any issues promptly
  • • Maintain clear access for future service

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly:

  1. Contact our office immediately with any concerns
  2. We will investigate and respond within 48 hours
  3. If needed, a supervisor will review the situation
  4. Disputes may be resolved through mediation if necessary
  5. Florida state laws govern all service agreements
